So I bought another Integra. 220k on the odometer but it runs VERY strong. head has been off so I'm assuming it's had headwork. Transmission is busted, thing won't move. Nice wheels, nice coils, mediocre paint, mediocre body. It's mostly straight but the passengers side qtr is rough. I got it for $1100, all fixed up I think I can get ~$3000 out of it.

part out all the wheels and stuff, try to make it as stock as possible. you'll get the same price stock or modded, but you get to sell the mod parts too.

lots of people will trade for stock+cash.

That was my thought as well. especially since you most likely have all the parts around.

orrr.....just put stock stuff on and keep everything else. sell it for $1100. it's like you got a shitload of free upgrades. it's the best way to build a collection of parts.

Got started on the 1997 LS with the bad transmission last night since we had a twin post lift open up. Thing was nearly impossible to get up there lol. I got the torque converter loosened, the axles are out, and the suspension is loosened to the point it needs to be. Also got the wires and hoses out of the way topside so hopefully Friday I'll be able to make more headway.

Also VIN plate on the tranny said "DB7" so it's not the original automatic trans, and it looked weirdly clean. I'm wondering if maybe it was installed wrong or something and thats why it doesn't run. In any case I'll probably put the "new" trans in there and crack the old one apart just to tinker.

So the wires to the plugs on the far passenger side of the transmission were all messed up.. I trimmed it back and spliced in good plugs from my donor car's harness and got the transmission bolted up today. Next up I gotta replace the axle seals, change the fluid, and hook the suspension back up at should be good to go. So this morning/afternoon I did all the aforementioned things and turned the car on, put it in gear, and voila! Axles turning. Well, in reverse just the drivers side turning. Granted the whole suspension wasn't back in place, just the piece for the axle to slide into. But in Drive everything spun, though the passengers side spun a little slower. When i put it back in park I heard a pretty awful noise but I have no idea where it came from... I'm kind of wondering if inside of the axles (like where they connect the arm to the hub thing) was loose and shredded itself or something, any thoughts?

BACK FROM THE DEAD. The car didn't sell because I honestly couldn't confirm as to whether or not it would be reliable so I registered it and put it on the road and the thing runs and drives amazing lol. It's an automatic which is boring but it looks good and it's just a nice cruiser I'm loving it. Kinda sad i didn't do it sooner.

Installed some blue lights for the cluster, tested some a/c components to try and figure out why its not working. Then went for a cruise and dinner with my best friend and his rsx type S. Love this car.

So I'm currently thinking about body and paint for this car... I'm really liking the prospect of Dark Currant Pearl against the Tiff Blue wheels. I'd prefer to use an oem color
