Those guys obviously suck... This is a direct copy from kbb.com

but the bottom line is, go try to find one....theyre nearly impossible to find so that is probably why theyare asking so much. and im sure theyll get it, some schmuck will go in there and have to have it and pay whatever they want for it

You sure it's 23.5? christ that's a lot... aren't they new like 25-28ish depending on options (and dealers added inflation on it as well if I recall when I asked on ITRCA.com)

there are no different options on the R...it came one way.. the only option was yellow or black...unless you want dealer installed comptech parts but i dont think anyone is that stupid. There overpriced but wont void the warranty as long as there installed by an authroized dealer

The car is championship white. I've never talked to the dealer, but I'm sure if you really wanted an ITR you could go in there and beat them up on price...they have a whole shitload of nice and rare cars there.

They have or had a 3000GT Spyder.

Well I could have sworn there were floor mat or trunk this or that on it, but the lounge on ITRCA is closed otherwise I'd be able to check out the window sticker in there.

IMO, The reasons why it costs so much is:

1. The dealer knows his cars and decides to mark it way the fuck up.
2. Has no idea what he has but knows its a type-r and bases the price on that.
3. He's a complete asshole/crook out to sucker people in to a raw deal.

Thats why i will never buy from a used and or "specialty" car dealership, they almost always comply to at least one of the reasons stated above.

then its not stock...championship white was only used as a stock color on 97 and 98 type r.

Unless its a Canadian model :p

I don't think they're any different than the US models...they're all built in Japan and Championship white was only offered on the 97-98 models.

Wrong, Canadian ITRs came in CW all years, with red interiors and daytime running lights B) buuuuut, if it was indeed a canadian model, I would assume the mileage should be in KMs, so it still sounds fishy.
