Is buying turbo intercoolers on ebay a bad idea?

as many have stated before, "any intercooler is better than no intercooler". If it's your only option for an intercooler and it's in your price range I say get it.
 
:werd: if it don't work you can always sell it and then you'll know what you DO need to look for.
 
it really depends...

some are garbage
some are used to the point of leakage

its just like everythign else on ebay- buyer beware, and buy from someone reputible.
