is my ecu wrong?

Hi ,just another question ,i pulled the ECU out of my car and found out its a PR4 ,my car runs badly ,my engine swap is a d16z6 from a 94 civic ,my car is a 92 vx -i think i will pick up a P28 and see if the helps it run a little better .man i hope so....
