Here is my setup:
b16a
t3/t4 turbo 8psi
dsm 450's
uberdata (base map right now with .9 degree retard for every psi)
A foot and a half section of 1.5 inch exhaust pipe

About 4months ago i had the resonator removed off of my civic, and the shop put in a 1.5inch pipe in its place (i didnt realize it was this small until today)

When i floor my car, it will spool up slowly to about 8 psi and start jerking a little bit at around 5k to 6k rpm and wont rev any higher (it isnt a rev limiter though). I was wondering what all of you think it could be. I think that it is the exhaust being too small but could it be something else that someone has seen in past?

Thanks in advance

any turbo should use an absolute minium of 2.5", if not 3 for best performance. 1.5 is stupid small, your killing your performance, not to mention your egt's must be sky high from the backpressure and reversion goin on in there.

you're better off just running open manifold/downpipe at this point.

throw that useless shit out.

2.5 minumum
