Issue after ls swap

I also don't know why more grounds should make any difference. I finally swapped over my si cluster from my other car and the rpms seem to be right where they should be. I also tried plugging in my old P06 to see if it ran any differently which it didn't.
 
Those who guessed the timing was off were right. I took the afternoon off work so I could try and diagnose the problem and took the timing covers off and saw the exhaust cam was off a tooth. At TDC I was able to put screwdriver down the hole on the top on the intake cam, but the exhaust cam I couldn't. So it fixed it and put everything back together. When I took it for a drive it was smooth as ever.
