Well i got called in to office at 2:30 friday. They said my position has been terminated due to budget cuts.......:( The corp side knows its abig hit because no one does what i do, and even if someone did they are so short staffed that its almost impossible to keep up with ordering and issuing purchase orders. Especially when turnover season comes around and its time to renew or lease up apts when school gets back in full force.

I packed my things, said goodbye to all co-workers and went in hunt for another job right then and there. I have one on the works but i cant gaurantee its gonna work. Resume is being reviewed by Nicole and another friend to help me improve on it.

uuughhh man it suckes starting over again.

we all have to start over many time....it's life.

I went from a $6.50 an hour job to a $21 an hour job, had to move to BFE CT, but now I'm pimping a house, many cars, and about to tap into $30 an hour this week.

Karma, a lot of work, and luck has gone far for me....and you will too have the same if your clean, honest, and hard working. I can only say to you, I wish you the best of luck, but your going to hear that from everyone else anyways. Get that resume perfected, and don't keep your job search located to a single area.... you may have to move if the opportunity arises.

    Nice.

Well heres and update: I'm completing my resume tonight.I'm going to give it to this small but growing business here right around the corner. Literally less than 2 miles. it called Shemanski Specialty machining. They specialize in Machining (duhh) CNC programming,CNC machining, custom welding, and also Metrology services.

The good thing is that he is all custom. Custom car parts like rotors can be made. Almost anything. My buddy had his big brake rotors cut by him for his Deloreon. What i'll be doing is supervising labor workers, organizing, recieving and delivering shipments for his second business next door. And when i have that in order i will go to the machinig side and learn how to custom fabricate.

Hopfully once i take some work load off of him he can concentrate on his maching business and he can get more done. He explained that his son who works at Nascar wil be coming down in a couple years to open up a speed shop consisting of custon fabricating and restoring classic and vintage vehicles........like Boyd Coddington pretty much

I dont know. i just want to learn the most i can. This interests me more and i have alot of room to grow compared to the old JOb i had.

I let you guys know once i find a job. I normally dont browse HS when unless i was at work or it be late like tonight.

Peace guys and thanks for the comments. You have no idea how much they mean, especially when you have no close friends to talk to.
    :(

tacotown! i dunno why i needed to type that, but i feel better now. you're gonna get a better gig. rarely do people move down a notch; the universe patiently waits for us to get motivated enough to improve our situation. not much is more motivating than not having a job.

you're gonna rock it, taco!

    I Got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked in. Handed him my resume and application. He took 1 sec. glance and askedwhe i could start....of course i said NOW. So i went and did alittle machine work till another person got there to show/help me do the other Metrology business. They need the help and i was there to offer my services. After all of that, we went and met some of our clientel that we deal with and i was introduced. I'll be making a little more than the last job with more flexible hours and i'll be making alot more once i get settled in and start organizing that business so i can run it the way i feel it can be more efficient.

Thats the best part. The business is so unorganized that i will help lay the foundation to get it to where it can grow and be succesful. It already is its just that its short staffed.

ohh man i'm so excited Supervisor/manager position..sweeett. The owner eventually wants me to be calling the shots and take car of the motrolgy side without him haveing to go over there.

woot woot! got fired on Friday and hired with a better paying job Monday.

ohh yeah. Thanks Airjockie:) We had a conversation Saturday night when she notices i couldnt sleep. We talked and i finally told her that feel worthles sometimes you know. I dont want to be jugling jobs for the rest of my life. I want to have a steady job and provide for me and my family. I just felt like shit because she has her life planned out. I have to follow if she leaves for another school or a job or something. I explained to her that that itself make me feel like i'm being dragged around and not worth really anything.:(

I questioned our marriage a little because i really dont like the way its heading as a family. I hope she doesnt see this but i feel like i love her one way and she does another. Maybe it was just that minor life setback that got me thinking. I want a mom and career women first. I dont want a career women and a family mom last. You know, the type that is always in hurry, cant really cook because she's got alot of work or having to hire babysitters and such.

i want a mom that will wake up early just to make sure their kids have lunch and are properly dresses. .

I come from a tight family driven by love and not money. I just dont want to Americanize it (no offense) by eating out alot instead of home cooking, too much work not enough time for the kids and their sports games.....aghhh man i never thought i would be in this position. I'm just starting to see little things that i thought would be over by know. Stuff that i dont want in my family

It's great that you got a job that works better for you now. My old job was paying to little, and was a pain in the ass overall. Now that I have another one, I don't miss the old one at all.
