itr in civic hatch

hey guys i just wanna ask a question..i have a jdm itr 2000 motor , im getting a us itr wire harness and i wanna know if the jdm itr computer would work on a usdm wire harness... another question..does anyone here have a state legal itr swap on their car? thanks..

I live in NH just about anything is legal, but if I was in Cali it would be a different story. The laws change depending on what state you live in, so what state are you in? And you you can use and JDM ecu. What year hatch is the engine going in?

im in cali..and its going into a 97 hatch

You'll need an OBD IIa (your car) to OBD IIb (the ECU) conversion harness.
