its the same thing as the red X in MS explorer

It might also be blocked due to firewalls..

i get the beat link images all the time

if right click -> show picture doesn;t work you can just right click -> properties, then copy the address and paste into a new window...

then when you come back to the thread after viewing the image you should be able to see it in the thread...
