What makes a hydro trans better than a cable trans? to me a cable trans you would have a better feel for how things are reacting?

Ive driven a cable trans and a hydro trans and to me theres a better feel for when your in gear, Like on my friends ss cobalt I feel like I am waiting to find the clutch where as on a cable I know where where the clutch is at.

So what are the advantages to a hydro vs cable trans cause I cant find any info about it.
 
nothing. different cars react differently to different parts.
 
you cant find anything because there really isnt any info about it..i think cable is better just because yes,the clucth is just there..with hydro its more complex...also the hydro throwout bearings are alot less reliable(due to the fact that the lines can break or fluid boil)with cable..you just have to worry about the cable snapping..but this is just myopinion..and please correct me if im wrong
 
Is there a conversion kit to turn a hydro car to a cable?
