j-spec/emissions question

I want to swap a b16a(sir1) into my 89 civic hb, but i'm worried about passing emissions after modifying it(or even stock..).Has anyone run in to problems with
this? If so, how did you get around it?

it should pass , but make sure u get new spark plugs, PCV valve, and retard ur timing like a mofo.
