JDM 2nd Gen Teg idle

I'm in Okinawa and my buddy has a 2nd gen Integra. It's auto and I don't know the trim.

He's telling me that when he lets it idle, every once in awhile the idle would raise, then lowers again.

It's normal yeah?

tell your buddy to clean his eacv....( electronic air control valve ) with brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner....let it dry out and then put it back on.....it should idle fine after cleaning it....

Yup the IACV idle air control valve.
