i got a 89 hatch and i might get a 92 and there both si and i want ed to know how hard yall think it would be to bolt up the jdm integra fron clip . and im gonna drop a B20 v tech. with the jdm headlights.
 
good luck mating a B20 bottom end to a phone.

If you want an Integra buy and Integra. If you want a Civic, buy a Civic. Front end conversion are beyond stupid. :thumbsdown:

Yeah, spending many thousands of dollars to get the front end to line up to look "pimp" is definately worth it when a stock Ford Escort blows you and your stock D15 away. That sounds worth it to me. :roll:
 
all this bitching about swaping body parts. hondaswap.com maybe it should be changed to hondaengineswap.com from the way you guys sound.
yea anyways I've been looking to swaping my head lights for teg ones (after my engine). If i use my corners i think all i would need is the hood and radirator support I really need to look into it better. like what would be needed to use the teg support.
if that was to work it would only set me back a few hundred not thousands. its ok for people to swap teg motors into civics but not body parts. go bug them. Is it cool to slash everyones ideas on this forum. Its like your ls/vtec if you want a b16 get a b16 if you want a b18 get a b18, but you know the ls/vtec setup is fucking powerful so thats your thing. Well the front end of the teg is bad ass and would be even badder ass on my rex so thats what i want.

Now....hondaswap.com implies engine swaps, which further implies performance. We don't deal with tech on swapping wings, front ends, alteezas, etc. It's a performance-oriented board. True, there are people here who enjoy and appreciate show cars. I'm not one of them. I think front end swaps look like ass.

In any case, this isn't the place to ask how to do it. Plenty of other boards exist for that reason. I'm here, and continue to stay here, because I don't have to sift through thousands of ricer posts to get to something useful about my car.
 
How about a front end CRX on a fucking CRX?

If Honda wanted front ends going onto every fucking import, they would make them easier to put on there. Instead, the retards insist on spending time/money to make their car look like a flaming piece of ass. How about a SR20DET into your Civic with the Odyssee front end, hows that sound?

Sorry, but that is competely backwards. I bought the car I liked, and I wanted to drive. If you liked the Gen2 Integra so much why did you get a CRX?
 
All you guys are being dicks to that guy. That is his personal opinion, to which he is entitled. You also have your opinion, but that doesn't give you the right to down his, or make fun of him. I think that some front end conversions look good. I'm not really all into show cars, but i do appreciate the time and effort put into the looks of a car as well as whats put under the hood.
 
This is a forum. He put his car up for an opinion, and we gave it to him. This is the equivalent of my going to a Chevy site, posting pics of my car, and getting butt-hurt when people make fun of it.

If he wants positive opinions of his ricer exploits, stupidhonda.com will surely give them to him.

Now i know your all about swaping and getting the most from your engine, but when you get there whats next...? for some of us grabing that last 1hp is not everything. instead we go to the next thing (in my case would be looks) so wtf is wrong with that. saying you have 200whp is not shit when your car looks like ass with no interior or having your girl seating in the back cause you took out the passenger front seat to gain that on .10 of a second.
