its backwards. JDM harnesses are meat for a RHD car... the entire firewall is basically reversed. thus, it won't reach.
simply use you gs wiring harness, plug in as much as you can, and then run a couple wires (use wire from the jdm harness) for the vtec and if its a jdm gsr (not an R) you have to wire for the IAB's. check the general section of the swap guide on the site for more info on wiring
