I have a question about the manual tensioner. When it's all finished am I supposed to leave the bolt in the timing belt tensioner tightened to keep it from moving? I'm talking about the bolt in the little bunny ear type thing behind the spring. Or is this spring supposed to be the only thing doing the tensioning?

Once the tension is right, tighten it. You may have to readjust the tension at a later time, but you don't want any loose bolts around your belts. I looked at the manual to be sure, and it didn't say anything about leaving any bolts loose, even with the auto tensioner.
