i bought a jdm motor to drop in my 97 prelude. it was supposed to be a 97 motor but the shops sayin its a 93. the prelude im putting the motor in had a crank position sensor, and the jdm motor doesnt, it runs an internal coil.

Is there any way to rewire the crank position wire in my harness to fit the jdm dizzy?

Yes there is, I had to when I swapped my F22 using the obd 2 harness for the obd 1 motor that uses and internal coil dizzy. If you know a good mechanic that knows his wiring you can do it. Search the forum for the wiring diagrams of both year cars so you can figure it out.
