jdm vs usdm ecus..

    kk i know the usdm ecus have the immobilizer in them and the jdm ecus have the speed limiter in them, but do jdm ecus also have the immobilizer?? i've been checking different forums and been gettin mixed answers, so i just need to know.. do jdm ecus have the immobilizer??

    jdm ecus in general..the 97+ ecus that is..or are they all different??

    only ecu's with an immobizer that i know of are 00+ Integras.. i'm sure some of the newer models have it also.. but before 2000 models i know of none

    cool thanks...so the 97-98 p5m ecu's wouldnt have one?? i just got done with a swap..and imma need a 97+ ecu to pass emissions..95 h22 in a 97 accord..so yea thats the only reason why i was wondering

    after a quick google search i think the 97+ has an immobilzer

    hrm...where'd you find the info on?? haha see..thats why i'm so confused, half the forums will be sayin "yes they have an immobilizer," and the other half will be like "no, no immobilizer," and i'm stuck lol

    well, to those who have used 97+ jdm ecu's...do they or do they not have an immobilizer??
