i have two jlw3v2 12's in a jl box the box is not ported also i have a 1000w crunch amp with 250.2 rms i want it to hit harder should i get a ported box and bigger amp or what?

get a JL 500/1 amp. it will pound the shit outta those 12s!

ports will make it louder but your bass will be a little sloppier

I have a "Like New" JL Audio 500/1 amp for $300 + shipping. Do that and get a ported box.

With a 500/1 that will sound really clean, and it will be good quality loud bass.

crunch amps are by far the worst amps i have ever had experience with FYI. You DEFINITELY get what you pay for in the audio scene.
