i was reading a forum about dart blocks....the b20 block has a deck high of 226. the thing i read was if u were to put a 95mm crank with 166mm connecting rods, you would get a rod/stroke ratio of 1.747; but how would the compression be affected. Would the piston hit the valves or would it even clear the top of the deck? i guess my question is, what is the deck height of a normal b20 block...because then i could find out what would be the piston to deck height on the dart block with that setup.

if you change the crank, and don't shorten the rods- you will go through your head. . . . or you can deck plate it... custom weld on a slice of block to add an inch to the top of the block. but then you need a cusotm hood
vice versa, and you will have 0 compression
