I was out looking at houses once again and happened to drive by a cool bridge. I pulled over and shot off a few pics.

here's one of them.

that is a pretty cool shot,,is the bridge wide enough for a car???and stable enough???
a car shot would be sick on there
 
Nah, its a walking path. well, it is wide enough for a car, but its blocked off with a post.

About 2 seconds if that? I doubt that was a pure structural decision. Then again, I don't build targets. ;)

I beg to differ - cross brace lattices can add up to 75% of weight to the overall structure - thus effectively giving gravity that extra "hand hold" to keep the structure on the ground. Build it without cross brace lattices - there's a good chance your bridge will float off into space. Escape velocity not withstanding, of course. :bs:
