You people with the accidental brake-check: Are you riding the clutch from 60 all the way down to a stop? Or do you put it in neutral at 60 when you're approaching a stop?

Just leave it in gear, then downshift as you slow down.

why keep down shifting?
i deem it useless and would rather cruise it to a stop.

Just depends on where I am. Sometimes I pop it in neutral and coast, sometimes I hit the brakes at the last minute. I like downshifting, and do it often, except since we put the bov on my car, once you get down to the lowest gear you plan on using and clutch it all the way to the floor- POW- it backfires. And I'm not talking like a little pop- it sounds like a freaking gun shot. I have seen people jump because of it. Funniest shit ever. I laughed- really hard.
