just picked up integra, throw-out bearing issue?

The car is perect except, whenever the clutch is engaged, it makes a sorts of metally scouring sound. The clutch feels very soft past the halfeay point but works, as soon as you put the clutch in, the sound fades out. Does this sound like a throw-out bearing?

my throw out bearing makes a whinning noise when clutch isnt engaged so if thats what your tlaking about then yeah.
