Hey guys and girls,

I'm new the honda world, have always been a chevy man, but times change, I'm also currently a DSM man, Proud owner of 94 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, but am aquiring my first Honda from a friend of mine who no longer wants it. It's a 94 Honda Civic DX with 240k and auto trans. Any suggestions you guys can give me for this new addition would greatly be appreciated. I'm already thinking about doing a rear disk brake conversion, because drums suck. and thinking about swapping the out the 1.5 with a 1.8 liter vtec. What do you think.

Thanks

with drums...there is more surface frictional area and better stopping power...ever see a dump truck with rear disk's?

properly maintained, the drums rock...down side is more rotational mass, but if you can find alum drums...then thats the way to go.

anyways, welcome to the boards. :)
