k24 89 hatch

Is this do able? I have found a cheap k24 and I have a 1989 honda civic dx hatch. My car is currently a manual 1.5 with a hole in the block. this is a auto k24. Id like to find a k series 6spd and cram it in. Think its possible? Has it been done? Or is it too big, too new, too difficult etc...

It's possible, at least in rex's, so I'm sure it's just as possible in a dx hatch. Is it a lot of work? Yes. Is complicated? Yes. Will you spend more money doing it than you spent on the motor, and possibly the car? Yes.

If you really want to do this, good luck.

My recommendation: Find a reputable shop. Drop your car off, with a blank check. Then proceed to perform sexual favors to fat women for compensation for the rest of your life.
