hmm i wonder if that teeth position problem is applicable to the SOHC d-series. im thinking its probably only a problem with the B series engines.
 
damn this thread keeps coming back..neways..

that emissions plate or wutever the fuck it is on the bottom of the tranny that covers part of the flywheel..mines seem to disapear..important?dangerous?
 
That is the dust sheild. If you look, right now your flywheel is exposed to dust, dirt, and oil. Oil = not good for your clutch. I would not go without it.
 
as long as you dont drive in snow a lot or spend a lot of time on dirt roads.


i've run cars without them and never had any problems.
