knock sensor code

i dialed in the cam timing and the crank to exactly 0,0 at steady engine speeds or in a higher rpm the knock sensor code comes on i set the ignition timing as close as i could get it with a timing light but it was all the way advanced and because of that code i cant use vtec, its a brand new factory knock sensor never came on before but i just did a build on the block so im at 11:5:1 comp, is that why its going off or is it cause the timing is not close enough? i have the factory gsr ecu, should i put the p28 in there to delete the code?

the factory ecu probably isn't providing aenough fuel for you at that compression level, and thus, its knocking.

get it tuned.
