I have a 94 JDM GSR in a 93 civic si. I'm using a JDM ECU P72 but USDM engine harness. Will the JDM ECU look for the knock sensor?

Yes, all the VTEC equipped B series ECU's, USDM or JDM, will look for a knock sensor.

You might want to find the correct forum for posting in about the EG chassis, as well.

yeah, you need the knock sensor to be wired in. Or after the motor warms up, it will throw a check engine light.
