Knock Sensor

How do you install negative for the knock sensor? Or it doesn't need one.

if u are using p28, u dont need knock sensor.

I'm running a p72 ECU. I got the knock sensor hooked up but CEL still comes on a couple minutes after driving it. Just wondering if knock sensor has a ground cause I hooked up straight for D3.

Not quite. It only needs one wire and the circuit grounds to the block.

How come my check engine light comes on when the engine warms up? Can you tell if your knock sensor is bad or will it make a difference in power?

If you have everything working properly except for the knock sensor, you will "feel" the CEL come on. Your computer retards the timing on your engine to protect it from the knock it might be missing. Limp mode, safe mode, shitty, whatever you wanna call it. You can tell.
