Laptop LCD cracked

so during the stress of finals i managed to leave my dell inspiron 8200 on the floor where i stepped on it and cracked it

now i have seen replacement lcd screen on ebay but was just wondering if it would be difficult to replace the lcd or if anyone knew any reference sites or something that can help me do it, or if anyone has had any experiences replacing broken lcds before

easy to do just a couple small tools needed. You take the case apart and unplug the lcd and plug the new one in.

you basically just need a phillips screwdriver.

it literally takes 10 minutes to replace an lcd screen. usually you remove a bezel around the keyboard, then pop the keyboard off to get to the video/power cable for the lcd. remove the screws around the screen, usually covered with rubber plugs, and your monitor is disconnected.
