yeah,

I officially declare 1 inch to no longer be 1/12th of an inch. my inch is now 23 feet.

so now, when i go to the store, and ask for an inch of rope, i'm going to throw a butt error when i don't have enought rope to tie up my boat.

standards are VERY important.

It's not my fault IE wants to do their own thing... fuck 'em

deal with the error if you're hard up on IE.

besides, our firefox/mozilla browser stats are hitting 35% lately. people are smartening up.

considering 80% of our hits a day are from un-registered members, i think its safe to say that the VAST MAJORITY of our browsing membership runs firefox now.


the error that is created is an problem with IE not supporting the DOM (document object model) correctly.
something that has been a PUBLISHED STANDARD since 1998.
