every sat night in the summer, my town has a "classic" car show... but appreently they let in just about anything inclusing brand new camaros, vettes, and chargers, etc. lol anyway, it's the same cars all the time, so we only go like once or twice a year usually.

so, here's a few pics. i need a bigger memory card. 64mb ftl. I tried to get some shots of the better cars.

its not a GT40 the GT40 is the old one.. the new one is just the Ford GT

they couldnt call the new one the GT40 because its roof line is higher than 40 inches (the feature that scored the first one its name)

its all good :) everyone calls it a GT40... and that is the car that it was inspired by... so its an easy mistake :)

the one one the lower right is 44 years old and worth $1,000,000+
the one on the upper left is 4 years old and worth $400,000

$20,000 motor in a $500 bucket. I always wondered why people did things like that. To each his own I suppose.

yes it is. no matter how much money we try to put into our cars its still a grocery getting honda. I would say the honda owners are worse.

Dont let all that chrome confuse you. It looks like a SBC (500-1000) with a Weiand 8-71 blower (3500) some no name $50 valve covers and non coated long tube headers (200.) If he bought that engine at a swap meet it could be had for the price of the supercharger alone. The paint on the other hand looks fresh and probably cost as much or more than the engine itself. And the interior is pretty clean as well. It looks to be a well rounded car. Just not the right year for my taste.

Edit: Forgot the carbs, a swap meet find could get those for around $200-300.

once again we honda owners are worse. I'm sure its a drag car which he prolly got either cheap and because of the chassis.

we do it with the hatches and crx's. to us they look good but to the rest of the world they are......ummm economy grocery getters...
