well i hate it too break it to you all , never sold my honda , jut took a loan out for the subaru. my honda was dyno tuned yesterday and it saw 382 whp and 377 wfpt. shit on all who bad mouthed my ricer. sold the h22 and sleeved the block with darton sleeves , low comp forged pistons, 89mm custom pistons actually. h-beam rods. and hp bearings. ported and polished the head. stainless steel valves and springs. turbo cam from f22parts.com . t3t4 turbo and @ 2 bar. shes a nasty muthafucker NOW!!!!!!! fuck all of you who tried to bad mouth my car. its still at the shop BRAUNING MOTORSPORTS.com wont have it for another week. so when i get it ill post the pics and dyno stats. this is not a JOKE!!!!!!!!! i spent 11,000 on this motor w/turbo . NOT A JOKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
ricer with almost 400 hp . call it what you want too, I never gave up on my dream. this accord has a specail place in my heart. like a dog you have had for a few years. I LOVE IT AND PROUD TO BE A RICER. just so you know all stock body except the hood has been swapped out. no body kits. the inside has been stripped out with a aluimiun dash and no roll cage yet. ill get it to be a race car one day . but im not going to take off all the stickers on it. FUCK IT. I ll be a ricer . I get a fast as accord back in a week or less. show off and play hard. might even take it too the track. you know even with the stock motor and turbo with 10 psi i saw 230 hp to the wheel and since then a much improvement. I m not going to throw something away just because a few people didnt like it. I will continue to build this car to be a race car. RICER OR NOT. IT will see the track . YEAH YEAH YEAH, too big, i dont care about what it weights. as long as i have fun doing it i dont give a damn what i place. plus its great practice . I dont want to race my 05 wrx. why tear up a good fast car. the accord is ideal since thats what i got and want to see on the track . why not race an accord. others do . and seem to be getting around. SHIT & GIGGLES or whatever.

Glad to see the progress. Post up some pics of the car & the dyno sheet.
Also, stop being so damn defensive. Most people are just trying to help & no you don't have to take everyone's advice. It's your car, do what you want with it.
If you ask for opinions & help, you have to take the good with the bad. It's part of learning.
 
He's right, post those dyno sheets so we can all see. Well, at least he has come to grips that he is a ricer, even after all the flack everyone has gave him. I really hope you did remove the wing and stickers. It's a shame to spend all that money building that motor on a nice car and then totally trash it by $100 worth of shit.
 
I' go pick up my car hopefully by this coming friday, Needs a couple of things done to get the inspection sticker on there. like a indash horn and custom door handles to go over the alumiun plated door panels. and there putting in switches in the dash for the windows to go up and down. just minor things. I was there when it was dyno tuned, and to hear it roar like that almost got me fully erected. LOL major difference from when it was just a vtec with cold air intake/headers and other shit that didnt make a difference.

since i seen the subaru with out the risers and stickers , MUCH MUCH NICER if you ask me , know thats some good advice taken to good use. thanks alot !!

Seanny has a good point, you spent 11,000 dollars, but what have you, yourself put into this car other than cash? You'll never know the pain and suffering caused by tearing a car completely apart and the satisfaction of rebuilding it the way you want it to be. You'll never experience the pride of driving something that you built with your own hands and that you KNOW inside and out.
Have fun driving your money pit. 11 g's could have been spent much more wisely, but someone's gotta keep the bondo manufacturers in business...
 
look I have done more than just spead a little bondo on this car. I have many , many, many hours and late nights in this car. I have done everything except for the motor this go round, I am not equipped with the right tools to preform machine work, ect . I have went through 3 motors in this car. I swapped them all. 2 transmissions . 3 clutches many drive axels. I did all of it. except for building a strong motor. Why not pay for a specialist in honda preformance to build me a 383whp f22b1 sohc vtec w/ t3t4 20-25 psi. and will take more than that. . I dont have the tools nor the experience to build a honda motor . I am confindent that i could do it. but The kinda money that it takes to build this motor. Im not going to take a chance. I know all about putting sweat,, blood, and tears in a vechile and being ON TOP OF THE WORLD when its all said and done !!!! been there man . I'm maybe 2 1/2 years into learning about hondas. mainly accords. I cant express enough the fact of me being the biggest part of my accord. Man I wouldnt trade or sell my car for nothing. So just because i pay someone to do something that can do better than me , doesnt just make me a DRIVER !

Sounds like solid numbers, I'll believe it when I see it, you can't just claim something without proof and expect people to believe you.

As far as I'm concerned, this is "Brauning Motorsports" car. The downside of sending it to a shop is you will have no idea what is wrong when you encounter problems, and trust me it does happen.

so your saying just because brauning motorsports built just the motor and dyno tuned it , its there car. they have done a few other things . nothing major though. well as much money as i paid for the motor and dyno tuned. not a goddamn thing better go wrong. these boys know there shit . they have a civic drag car. h22 w/ t70 turbo on methenol gas. 1000whp. no nitrous . nice fucking car, they have like 100,000 in it or so . but thats off the subject. this is my car and im the one driving it NOT any of you . so stop knocking my car. when i staring this thread asking for advice to make this accord into a race car. i was told get rid of the body kit, get some power and lighten the car. and blah blah blah, thats what i have done , i got the motor built , i personally put the turbno kit on, I did the suspension and also all the stock body went back on except for the hood, i sold that before i changed my mind. i have taken alot of advice from this thread and put it to good use !!!! i have been to VIR to play on the track 4 times since , not to mention i took a 8 hour class through FASST racing school. and i cant wait to see what my accord will do on the track. knock me if you will . DONT CARE
 
i just read all 8 pages of this shit. you are an asshat for trying to fool everyone into thinking you did the right thing. you don't know shit about hondas, so you bought something more likely to break with an engine that is harder to work on? good call on that one.

sell the accord and save that money to dump into the subie. you are going to need it. when you get a high hp car, it's going to break.
 
first of all I did want i wanted to do, and thats build the accord. you can kiss my ass , i dont care what you or anyone else thinks. ill do what i want to do with my money and my accord. I use my subaru for a daily driver. like i said before im not going to try and tear it up. Im not trying to bullshit anyone. and just curious, how does one spend the money to build a stronger motor and shit start breaking. if you have the right shit then it wont break. i was told by mark brauning himself. i will be able to throw 30 psi from my t3t4 turbo and have no worries. so whats going to break . i didnt shop at the dollar store for my car parts . fuck nut
