Importing an AWD accord will probably cost about as much anyway.

Oh yeah - forgot about all that shit. There's a reason that a $60,000 Skyline costs over $100,000 after DOT-ing and markup.

i thought a Skyline "only" costs $80k after having it DOT approved and importing it??

R34 GTRs are a little over 55grand brand new. I was under the impression that it'd be 15-20k to import it and legalize it through motoRex.

You still need to get the car registered...... The people who do that tend to know what they're looking at DOT wise.

Live in Montana. You don't have to worry about that at all. There's a few R32's running around fully licensed.

So even if it wont be used at all on the road, you still have to get it registered?
I ask because out of college Im planning on teaching english in Japan for a year and picking up a cappuccino, that i was hoping i could bring back home.
