Hey guys...
I bought a 2002 accord ...it had been in the water. Had all the wiring harnesses, ECU, ignition, the engine, etc... replaced. (I'm in deep now) I'm now down to the ignition/security system. AS I understand it...the ECU has the immobilizer built in...or running through it. As it is...it wont pulse the injectors, no fuel.
Is there anyway around dealer programming, etc.
The ecu i bought was from a j-yard....as well as the ignition and key.
As I "dont" understand it...It needs to be towed to the dealer to have the ecu and ignition and key...all programmed to match? Is this the process?...Anyone with knowledge of the same..Would be greatly appreciated.
