Looking to make high horse power

I have a 97 civic lx 4 door that has nothing done to it. I want to build a high horsepower engine and turbo setup for it and i need to know the best engine to use.

P.S. i will not sell the car to get a different car to use.

selling the car to get something lighter is smarter but since you want to keep the 4 door hey - it's all up to you mang.

a GSR motor is the best starting point, if you add pistons,rods,sleeves and larger injectors than you can get away with a good high amount of hp given you have the right turbo setup.

You should have posted a question about turbo setups in the FI section and turbo builds in this setion.
