lower tie bar install problem

my cars go fast
i was installing a lower tie bar on my 90 hatch. pulled the 2 bolts, went to install said bar, then reinstall the bolts and they wont go back in. is it the way the suspension is hanging? the holes look lined up, but i cant really see for sure.
 
probably not lined up up or their getting caught. usually their a bitch to get juuuuust right in order to get those bolts in. GL
 
Yeah those are a bitch to get in, especially if the wheel is on and you dont have a helper. Take the wheel off if you didnt already and have a friend wiggle the trailing arm around while you get the bolt started. I have never been able to do it without a friend helping me.
 
also get smoe anti-seize that will make it much easier for the bolts to go in.
