A while ago someone told me that a good way to get 11:1 compression on my 96 ls motor was to use JDM b16a pistons. But, what year will I need them out of? Anything else I should know? Let me know, thanx.

What kind of compression will I get with the ctr's? Also, what year of ctr's and what all will I need with them? Let me know.

if you do CTR's you'll be around 12.5:1 CR, what gas do you plan on running on, what kind of tuning?
i suggest sticking with JDM b16 pistons, anything from 92+ (i think that is the years of the SIRII) will work.

Actually you can use any generation of B16A (SIR) pistons. Im using SiR1 Pistons in my LS. Good luck.

PR3 and P30 pistons are different.

I didnt say they were the same, I simply said any B16 piston will work in an LS block.

They yield different CR's though. They'll both work, but SiR I's will be about .2 lower than SiR II's.
