LS intake mani

    on my stock 92 ls intake manifold just under the t-body there are 2 little holes that go into the manifold with 3 bolt holes to hold something on


    does anyone know what that is for?




    please help car goes into the shop in two weeks and every thing but the wiring needs to be done before then :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

    Yeah, it is some sort of a valve that bolts up there, coolant runs through it, but I do not know exactly what it is.

    I posted a question about it here earlier today

    its a mechanical fast idle valve.

    coolant flows through it. once the coolant reaches the proper temperature it closes off a passageway that was allowing air to bypass the throttle blade so the car to rev higher when its cold.

    well i guess i should have searched

    im just gonna make a block off plate since i dont have that valve
    ill just have to get one before winter
