alright i just bought my ls block for my ls vtec conversion while my gsr is off getting rebuilt could i just use my ls water pump and my ls timing belt instead of my gsr water pump and gsr timing belt
 
Yes you could, but i do not suggest it. Stick with the vtec water pump and belt, thats what everyone uses that has a clue to what they are doing. :)
 
For sure use the GSR stuff I even went and got a GSR oil pump when I did my LS/VTEC, I guess you could run it but I don't know anyone that does. Sorry for being no help at all.
