Can you put ls rods into a d16a6 block? If you can what do you need to to make it work?

YES. The LS rods have the same length and main journal (crank end) size as the D16 rods. They do have to be machined down a bit because they're a tad too wide at the crank end (don't remember exactly how much), and the bushing size at the piston end is too large. You have to get a set of bushings to take the piston end of the rod down to 19mm instead of the B series' 21mm. There are exceptions though- one particular set of D series pistons has a wrist pin size of 21mm. :)

Wrong.

TurboPanda's setup = B16 rods and Supra pistons (really tall) in a D16 block

This question = B18 rods in D16 block with D16 pistons = yes, it does work. :p

well i new i was not wrong...just wrong set up :shrug2: :imgone:

that would be the 98-00 GX pistons with 2.5mm dome - PDN-A00
