Then you should really be looking into a b20....no the LS. OEm 84 mm, plus .2 litre more. and you can get forged pistons and rods instead of spending the $$$ sleeving the block...my $.02


and I have built 3 ls/V's from 81.5mm-85mm
 
my ls vtec just threw a rod and bearings....and crank. it was the after i put in on the dyno. My combo was a stock b16 head, stock B18A1, except the piston. I dont know what kind they are are yet since the it hasnt been torn apart (bought the car as is). It made 172hp. I just ordered a full eagle rotating assembly kit for 1199 total. ALL forged baby! i'll have to bore to 82 or 83 but it will raise my compression to 11.3.1. If your interested just look for the company, Super Engine Builders.
