Ls/vtec, Cr-vtec In Cali

I was just wondering, anyone here in Cali own a daily driven LS/Vtec or CR-Vtec? If so how do you get it to pass visual on a smog test (without going to a shaddy station). Isn't it also illegal in Cali to do a head swap from another motor?

Yeah, head swaps are illegal in Cali. There is no way to get on to pass without going through a shady station.

According to the smog people, having the external oil line from the block to the head makes it illegal anyway. I'm glad I'm going back to Texas soon.

BOTH of you are correct. If you want it.. you have to go to shady shops..plain and simple. the end.
