hey guys just wondering what kind of ecu i need to use to make my 92 integra run right. i am making a daily driver ls/vtec w/ gsr timing, oil, h2o pumps. can i just use a vtec controller to control the vtec or do i have to use a gsr ecu? do i need to use any conversion cables or does it just plug & play? any help would be appreciated.

Ok, here we go, first off what do you have for your LS/VTEC??? Block #????
What head are you using B16 or GSR???? There are alot of variables to figure this out, but in the long run YES you will need a VTEC ecu whether it be a P28 or a P72.

Example: If you are running a OBD2 block and a OBD1 head in an OBD2 car
you would need to get a OBD2 to OBD1 jumper harness and run a OBD1 ecu.
Let me know what you have and I can help you better.

Ok so I think the 92 block is OBD1 and I know the '94 GSR head is OBD1
so all you will need is an OBD1 ecu. either a P28 or a P72 the P28 will have to be converted to run the secondaries from the GSR head so your best bet is a P72.
Thats it unless I am wrong about the 92 block being OBD1 and it's OBD0 or something. Good Luck with your build.
