I just bought a 91 'teg. I am also buying a B16 head to go LS/VTEC. I am thinking of selling the head to my friend with an ls, and swapping in a full B16 tho. What do I need besides the motor for a swap into this car? (Tranny will come later) I don't need axles or distributer do I? Just engine and ECU? I can get a B16 for $800. The B16 head I am getting is $500 alone... Any thoughts would be appreciated...

I have a b16 in my 90 teg, along with I/E/H my car is pretty quick, but if your looking for anything more then a quick street car, with the off the line power of the b18 i would say either go ls/vtec or a turbo b16. Just my .02

IMO a 1.8L VTEC engine is always a better choice than the B16 unless your budget is really strapped.
