I currently have LS/Vtec with ctr intake cam, itr exhaust cam, usdm type r pistons shotpeened ls rods, apr rod and head bolts, and all fully balanced. i also have a VAFC2, i,h,e. but my question is, im running about 11.0:1 and i was thinking about supercharging it because i can get a good deal in town. would my high compression be a factor because i see alot of people turbo charging the new rsx type-s and they have no problems.
just wanted some ideas

high compression would be a factor in tuning it... it'll be harder and take more time, but it can be done.

I still wouldn't do it with 11.0:1 CR though, best ratio for boost is 9.0:1ish.

If you don't know about boost do not try to boost on such high compression.

You would end up without a motor (kaboom, without the proper tuning) or deep into your wallet.

I'd suggest what rev8K said, lower the compression then supercharge.

You would get alot more responses if you posted this in the Forced Induction forum.
