Ls/vtec Turbo?

i have a 96 del sol vtec i was wondering if it is worth it to put an ls block on my b16 head and turbo it or will i just blow the motor im planning on uping the boost but i will rebuild the pistons and cams first... do you think this is a safe set up... remember this isnt a daily driver car. i just to be in low 12's to 11's. i love to hear some stuff from people with this set up on there del sols all input is welcomed

build the block before you do anything ... then it will be all set for full boost when you throw it in there
that will save you the most time and money

I think you'll find it easier, too, if you put the head on the block, not the other way around.

I would build the bottom for sure. That way you will be ready for turbo and it will be broken in by the time your ready.

if u have the money, u should go wit the b20z, it has more tq, i know this dude that has b20/vtec turbo that ran 11s
