What the hell is a LSD. I always read about it. I am getting a EF8 b16a and the LSD is optional in the transmissions. Should I try to get one with the LSD?

LSD is a Limited-slip differential. I would definitely try to get one. It sends power equally to both wheels when you begin to lose traction. It will help your acceleration and your exit speed out of corners. It also helps with power understeer. Unless it is extremely expense get one now because installing it later is a pain.
