I have a mac machine that I would like to more or less get a complete backup of the HD.

Does mac come with any built in software I can use?
My theory was to just buy a 100GB usb HD, slap it on there and run the OE backup for the whole drive, or copy the whole drive, either/or

Ahhh I gotcha now. Yeah I am not sure then. I would imagine that OS X would have some sort of built in backup software but I have little experience with Macs
