i just finished putting a head gasket on my ls/vtec and the car barely even starts. you have to give it gas to get it to start at all actually and then it barely idles. it feels like the timing is bad off, vaccum hose off somewhere, or something, but to the best of my knowledge it's hooked up correctly. has anyone ever installed a head and ran into anything that made the car run insanely rough, any ideas or thoughts that can help. when i brought the car into the garage, it ran fine, except that it was leaking a little coolant from around the head. and if it matters, here is a brief rundown of what i have.
ls bottom end, 16a1 head
crower rods, je 9:2 pistons, and iron sleeves
gsr cams and valves with type r duel valve springs, and str cam gears
msd 6a
msd 8.5 wires adn ngk bkr7e plugs
t3/t04e turbo .57 a/r, hks wastegate, rev hard intercooler
bbk 70mm throttle body
aem fuel rail
rc 370 injectors
p28 with Greddy e-manage and profec e-01
