I have a bunch of pics on my computer I want to upload, and right now, as they are, they are all over 1MB in size(my brothers 5.0mpxl camera). I searched and didnt see anything on how to get the file size down.

anyone have any ideas?
sorry if its a repost or whatever, but I looked.
 
get psp or some sort of picture program so you can resize them... i have psp7 which is what TPP sent me.

No piracy talk on the forum please. Just download Paint Shop Pro and learn to use it, then register it later. It's free to use (legitimately), even after the trial period runs out. I think the latest version is actually 8, not 7. It's not affiliated with Adobe or Photoshop at all.

Download the demo. It's usually around 15-20MB.
 
our gallery will auto-rezie images down to 1024x768 as a max pixel size.
however, you can def get better results with an imaging program.

the JASC software has a 30-day trial, after which it becomes diabled. I believe it costs $99 for the real copy thereafter.

There are other options though too- try download.com and sourceforge.org for some freebies......

or just learn how to set up your camera. there is NO reason to take photos larger than 800x600 for the web, especailly of your damn car. lol porn, is a different story :D
 
Yup- there are TONS of image resizing programs out there for free. Pick one up from download.com and use it.
 
Uhhh just use Paint....open the image and use Stretch /Skew ....choose a the % of the picture size you want Vert/Hort...then go to attributes to change the pixels.......
 
im downloading PSP 9 now, the trial version.
its like 98 megs and its running at like 85Kb/s, so it wont take too long. thanks for the info
 
Damn. 98 megs? They more than double the size on every release...

i agree, .net does suck. but that thing is extremely useful. :)
 
i downloaded that MIR mutiple image resizer, and it says you have to be running Windows 98(which I am) or ME, or XP Home.

doesn't make any sense.
